“As the Chairman of Abergavenny Cricket Club, I bid you a very warm welcome to a cricket club that we believe is on the threshold of achieving great things again, on and off the cricket field. We intend to remain at the heart of our community and would like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in watching or playing the game or just joining us for post-match refreshment! I also hope that we can gain a reputation for playing the game in a competitive but fair manner and demonstrate to our younger members the sheer pleasure and joy that can be achieved by playing this wonderful game.
