Youth cricket at Abergavenny Cricket Club is crucial to the long-term success and sustainability of local cricket. Without a strong commitment to Youth cricket there is no future for the game in Abergavenny. We invest a lot of time and effort in developing young cricketers who we hope will mature into senior players. Our track record is good, with both Mark Wallace and Michael Powell securing careers in first class cricket. However, our values also include fun and enjoyment, and we hope the young people that turn up to our regular Wednesday & Friday night training sessions continue to experience fun and enjoyment.

The Southeast Wales Junior League organises the Age Groups with an associated day of the week. Although most fixtures, both home and away, are allocated a night, some Clubs may need to amend this arrangement.
